What is AMH Test?

Many women come to our clinc for the hope a baby. sometimes problems are serious and required the costly and time taking treatments. Every woman who come to us, we start from the initial treatments. So that we can understand the level of problem.

Women those have the problem with menstrual cycle are asked for the AMH test. .the level of AMH in the blood can help us to estimate the number of follicles inside the ovaries, and therefore, the woman's egg count. A typical AMH level for a fertile woman is 1.0–4.0 ng/ml; under 1.0 ng/ml is considered low and indicative of a diminished ovarian reserve.

We start the medication for them who have low AMH level. And ensure them the successful pregnancy.

It is a marker for ovarian (egg) reserve and is  accessed via an AMH blood test. For accurate assessment, AMH tests should be combined with an antral follicle count (AFC), which is the number of small follicles within both ovaries. AFC is done using an expert fertility ultrasound scan.

AMH can be measured at any point of your menstrual cycle, not just on day 3, and does not require a sonogram to get an accurate reading like antral basal follicle count.

An AMH test is often used to check a woman's ability to produce eggs that can be fertilized for pregnancy. A woman's ovaries can make thousands of eggs during her childbearing years. The number declines as a woman gets older. AMH levels help show how many potential egg cells a woman has left.

his test requires specialized equipment and must be performed in a laboratory. Your blood may need to be sent to a reference laboratory and it may take one to several days for results to be available.

Women with very low (<0.5 ng/ml) AMH levels undergoing IVF still have reasonable chances of achieving a pregnancy, but their prognosis is significantly affected by chronological age.

As long as you have regular periods and you will ovulate one egg per month.
